1. I can't remember my user ID or password, what do I do?
On the home page www.sunflowersky.com, located in the top right banner of the page, there is a "forgot password" link. Please click on the link and follow the instructions. Your user id and password will be e-mailed to you.

 

2. Can I have multiple journals with my user ID and password?
Yes, absolutely, we encourage it! Just sign up for another journal with your existing user ID and password. Also, when you have multiple journals, you can use your existing address book. Each journal has a renewable one year subscription, making it easy to start and complete your journals at different times.

 

3. Can I upgrade my subscription?
Yes, you can upgrade and extend your journal at any time. Just go to "My Journals" and in the chart there is a column named "Type". Click on Standard or Basic, (what ever is displayed in the column). The options to upgrade or extend will be available for you to purchase.

 

4. What is the difference between a basic and standard subscription?
A basic subscription is ideal for personal use, as there is only one author, you. A standard subscription gives you the added capability of inviting friends and family to contribute to a journal. This is ideal for child journals, trip journals and remembrance journals.

 

5. How will I know my subscription is going to expire?
We notify you via e-mail 60 days in advance of your expiration. You can renew you subscription at any time.

 

6. Once I complete a journal, how long do you keep the journal in archive?
If a person has a subscription, the journal will be active. Some journalists keep their subscriptions going for years, creating keepsakes that cover a large span of time. If a person does not renew their subscription, the journal address book and contents remain available for a period of 5 years. Beyond 5 years, we charge a minimal handling fee for obtaining the journal files from archive.

 

7. Can I edit a journal that I've completed?
Yes, as long as your subscription is active. If your subscription has expired, you will need to renew your subscription before editing.

 

8. How do I upload a custom cover?
A few of our covers have the ability for you to upload a picture into them.  When you complete your journal, you will be prompted to choose your journal cover from a variety of options. The ability to upload a picture will be available to you at this time. If you are having trouble uploading your picture or it is not appearing correctly, please contact us.

 

9. Once I complete my journal and submit it for printing, how long does it take before I receive it?
It takes approximately 7 business days to process, print and assemble your order. For shipments inside the United States, depending on the shipping method that you choose, shipping can range from next day to four business days. For shipment timeframes outside the United States, please contact us.

 

10. How do I order a gift certificate?
Please visit our sign up page to view our gift certificate options.

 

11. I want to give my journal as a gift; will you wrap it and insert a card?
Yes, absolutely! Journals that are either printed or in a CD/DVD format can be gift wrapped and a card inserted. You will be prompted for this option when buy your journal.
